MY ARTISTIC
Journey
Every stage of my path unlocked a new power.
All harnessed in the service of storytelling.

Photography
I explored fashion photography by self-funding my projects with a waitressing job and a Canon G7. A year later, I took on the 365 challenge, which carried me from makeshift runways to street photography and Fine Art. In 2012, Instagram selected me as a Suggested User, catapulting my career as a digital artist.

Storytelling
Writing was perhaps the first power I unlocked in my journey. From childhood, when I created my own manga, to the day I sent my texts to VICE Magazine and became one of their columnists. In September 2014, one of my articles —‘My Three Years as a Stripper’— went viral worldwide, cementing my voice as a writer.

Literature
Fueled by rumors that my viral article was the prelude to an autobiographical novel, in 2015 I embarked on a nearly four-year journey to publish Icarus’ Ashes. The work follows Ixchel, a young woman determined to escape the violent labyrinth her mother wove around her. After several failed attempts, she finds the illusion of freedom in a strip club, where she must burn her wings to discover herself amid betrayals and excess.

Web Design
While writing my book, I realized I needed a digital skill that could sustain me without pulling me away from the computer. That’s how I discovered web design and development. Between code, templates, and endless nights, I unlocked a new power: opening portals through code.

Graphic Design
With the lifting of health restrictions, several companies reached out to me for help in ‘reviving’ after the crisis. I brought my entire arsenal into play: photography, writing, web development, and social media. Only one power was missing to complete the set: graphic design. That arsenal became the foundation of my own creative studio: Ahtziri Studio.

VOICEOVER
Adapting Icarus’ Ashes into an audio series revealed a power I didn’t know I carried: my own voice. I decided to train through a professional voice-over and audio editing course, and soon I found myself lending my voice to campaigns and projects for global brands such as BYD Motors, Colgate, BBVA, Amazon, among others.

Filmmaking
In 2025, I decided to keep Ahtziri Studio as a creative satellite, so I could fully dedicate myself to my individual career as a digital artist. After years of unlocking superpowers—photography, writing, web, design, voice-over—I realized they were all pieces of the same puzzle. And the missing piece to bring them all together into a single vision was filmmaking.
